The wave of men and women struggling to come home after war has represented not only a responsibility, but a tremendous opportunity. An opportunity to get things right, and to develop solutions that work not only for veterans of war, but veterans of trauma from all walks of life. The post-9/11 conflicts provide us with another such opportunity, one that we must not let slip through our grasp.

The first-ever effort to cultivate and facilitate Posttraumatic Growth (PTG) amongst the military and veteran community. Posttraumatic Growth is a decades-old science that provides a framework for transforming times of deep struggle into profound strength and lifelong growth.
Two University of North Carolina-Charlotte psychologists, Dr. Richard Tedeschi and Dr. Lawrence Calhoun, founded the science of PTG. The notion that times of struggle and suffering can serve as the gateway for transformation and growth is not new; tales of the journey from struggle to strength serve as the basis for every single organized religion. In modern times, the science of Posttraumatic Growth captures this process of transformation, and has been the subject of 600 peer-reviewed articles in journals across the globe, many written and edited by Dr. Tedeschi.
Bulletproof Warriors delivers programs for Warriors (combat veterans and first responders), couples, caregivers, and families. Virginia, to develop that new, innovative, and engaging approach. Our focus is to develop a proven and scalable solution that heals our nation’s heroes and their families, and ensures they can live productive, fulfilling, and service-oriented lives at home.
