Sponsor a Veteran today, and become a Guardian.
The History
Currently, 22 Veterans commit suicide each day. The battle for liberty has persisted throughout history, and there is no greater or nearer example for American Citizens than our own revolution. The Boston Massacre of 1770 marked the height of the early tensions between the Colonies and the Crown, which led to the burning of the Gaspee in Rhode Island in 1772 and finally, the Boston Tea Party of December 1773.

The Problem We Are Solving
A suicide epidemic claims the lives of 20 veterans every day, and more first responders die by suicide than in the line of fire. Millions of other combat veterans and first responders live lives filled with despair, battling PTSD, anxiety, and depression. We believe training individuals in the principles of posttraumatic growth will lead to an increased quality of life.
Revolutionizing Mental Health for Veterans: Putting an End to PTSD
At our organization, our unwavering mission is to eradicate PTSD in Veterans across the nation. We are deeply committed to addressing the urgent issue of veteran suicide, recognizing that it is a critical public health crisis that demands immediate action.
In the past 2,256 days, we have tragically lost 270,720 Americans to suicide, with 45,120 of them being veterans or service members. These devastating statistics cannot be ignored. Suicide has become the tenth leading cause of death in the United States, and the country’s suicide rate has risen by a staggering 30 percent over the past three decades.
It’s crucial to understand that suicide is not solely a veteran problem; it’s a national crisis that affects us all. Shockingly, the number of veterans and service members lost to suicide in just one year surpasses the combined casualties of the Afghanistan and Iraq operations to date. In fact, the total number of lives lost to suicide in the past decade exceeds the number of deaths during the entire Vietnam War. This is not only a matter of public health but also a national security concern that demands urgent attention.
We firmly believe that more can and must be done to combat this problem. That’s why we are here today, ready to spearhead a comprehensive approach to address PTSD and transform mental health support for veterans. Join us in our mission to create a future where our heroes receive the care and support they deserve, ensuring that no veteran feels alone in their struggle and that we put an end to this heartbreaking crisis once and for all. Together, we can make a profound difference.
